Type 1 diabetes Type 1 diabetes often starts in children and young adults, but it can happen at any age, where the body cannot produce insulin
Type 2 diabetes Is caused by problems with a chemical in the body (hormone) called insulin. It's often linked to being overweight or inactive, or having a family history of type 2 diabetes
PreDiabetes You are unlikely to be experiencing any symptoms with prediabetes, it is about knowing your risks of developing type 2 diabetes
